🖋️ Thunhisgala, or somebody called Kalupahana, is the 6 th highest peak in the Knuckles Mountain range. It divides both Kandy and Matale districts, where it is situated on the border. 🖋️ This small Rannagala Ella Waterfall is located in the village of Rannagala in Neboda in Kalutara district. The waterfall is approx 6 meters in height and is best seen during the rainy season. You can reach this waterfall from Matugama or Neboda. From Matugama town it’s 5.7 km distance on the Neboda road. Alternatively, you could travel to Neboda from Kalutara and travel 3.5 km on the Matugama road to reach the waterfall. Although the waterfall is small, there is a natural pool at the top which has been improved by building a pond for bathing. At the bottom too another pool has been constructed for bathing. Therefore this has become a popular bathing place for visitors.
